For the first time ever, guests at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights will live a mega-horror movie before it even hits the big screen. They will also experience two modern day blockbuster horror franchises as Universal Orlando devotes its entire Halloween Horror Nights event to bringing horror films to life.
Future looks bleak for Terra Mítica
Información newspaper reports that the regional government does not want to spend any more money. It seems the efforts to try to avoid the financial collapse of the Terra Mítica attractions park in Benidorm could be at an end, with reports in the Información newspaper today saying that top members of the Regional Government have started contacts to try and sell the site.
Warwick Castle's dungeon attraction make 15 people faint
In the first month since the dungeon opened, 15 people have fainted and another four have vomited, apparently due to fear. Visitors to the medieval dungeon are greeted by fake blood and life-size models of victims on the rack. Guides demonstrate how prisoners used to have their tongues ripped out.
Frestyle plans for future; enough money to survive recession
Freestyle Park opened nine weeks ago. Park management is hoping for a good first year, and more importantly a strong future. Hard Rock Park blew into Myrtle Beach with a bang and shortly after fizzled to barely a spark. It went up for sale, eventually going to the new owners, FPI MB Entertainment, LLC. The company purchased the park for 25 million dollars, a real steal compared to the more than 200 million price tag Hard Rock shelled out to build the park.
$8 Million Aquarium Opens on Vancouver Island
The vibrant underwater world of the Salish Sea, on Canada’s Pacific Coast, will be revealed in the seaside town of Sidney, B.C. when the new $8-million Shaw Ocean Discovery Centre opens this weekend.Thousands of fish, invertebrates, and marine plant life will be at home here in 87 tonnes of seawater contained in seventeen massive aquarium habitats.
