Universal Orlando Resort Unveils New Consumer Website
Universal Orlando Resort has created a brand new web site – now available at UniversalOrlando.com – that is focused on helping guests plan a better, more personalized vacation experience. The new site will allow visitors to customize their vacation to fit their personal interests and needs. While guests browse the website, they will view relevant content and offers based on information they provide, such as their point of origin, date of visit and make-up of their group.
Cedar Point's Shoot the Rapids planned for years
As Cedar Fair's corporate vice president of planning and design, Rob Decker helps Cedar Point chart its destiny for years to come. But Decker says his wife finds out about new rides at Cedar Point the same way anyone else does -- when the news is announced in the media.
Bay Beach looking to add roller coaster
The fun and thrills are wrapping up for the year at Bay Beach Amusement Park in Green Bay. "It's a little bittersweet that it's the last weekend but it has been a long season and we're already starting to pre-plan for next year," said Tina Westergaard, the special facilities manager at Bay Beach Amusement Park. That plan includes looking into buying a family friendly roller coaster, among other new rides. Westergaard said adding a roller coaster is the top priority as the park continues to expand.
SW6 Alton Towers
Confirmation is now in for the builder of the new coaster for Alton Towers new coaster for 2010. Intamin AG.
Alton Towers: SW6 Update
The track for Secret Weapon 6, the new roller coaster at Alton Towers for next year, has been delivered.
It is hoped that the coaster track will be in position half way through October 2009, the track was delievered to site yesterday in large containers along with a crane.
