Judge approves $2M offer on Wild West World
Wild West World could have a new owner by the end of the month. Bankruptcy Judge Robert Nugent on Thursday approved the $2 million sale of the park to Tulsa-based Murphy Brothers Exposition, which is tentatively scheduled to close on May 30.

Castaway Cove launches contest to name new waterslide
Officials at Castaway Cove, Wichita Falls, Texas, recently launched a contest to find a name for the new-for-2008 waterslide attraction (a WaterFun Products Sidewinder MK1) opening this season. AmusementAquatic Management Group, (AMG), the park’s management company, developed the “Name the Ride” promotion in order to bring the Wichita Falls community into the launching of this new water ride.
